Dominick Cruz is still crazy fast considering his age & injuries. His technique is good for a 3 round but for a 5 round fight it will require a ridiculous amount of cardio to pull it off. Lateral movement of Cruz is boon & bane as it protects him from most of the attacks but one power shot drops him easily.

He doesn’t make any reads. He doesn’t have a high enough fight IQ. If he did it would’ve been over in round 1. That’s something TJ capitalized in their fight in their primes. Chito just throws and hopes to land.

@@user-zo4iz2nv5uchito was lining that thang up with his jabs for a good minute there, watching where doms head would go, literally just go back n watch his leg, also take in the fact this dom is older and slower, the outcome ain’t crazy at all fr, chitos def got good fight iq and he’s pretty well rounded with the ko power and his ground game is good, but yea sometimes he likes to just stand with his opponents when they have the edge, maybe it’s cause he wants a ko or maybe he’s breakin them down, but saying he don’t have high fight iq is lying, I’m guessing ur a suga fan, so I bet u chito will break him again in the rematch physical or mentally, loser of the bet has to come back to this comment section and apologize for being braindead🗿 🤝🗿

A bit different, Leon and Justin threw a hand on the side of the head the kick came from to obscure the vision, Chito threw on the other side to get Dom's head moving into the kick.

Cruz still looked pretty good in this fight. He made a few mistakes which ended up costing him, but he didn't look old or like he didn't have it anymore. He still looked fast and sharp, I'm surprised we haven't seen him since this

Круз даже на закате карьеры смотрится в разы лучше веры. Не нравится этот боец, говорил отбил нога шону, хотя там попал один раз по ней и то чисто случайно удар пришёлся в нерв, а понтов было что уничтожил шона в одну калитку. Альдо не в лучшей форме показал что вера слабый боец, надеюсь что сэндхаген вырубит его с помощью флай ни.

согласен, этот мешок бил только ветеранов, да и ветераны его подбивали так нормально, да и выделывается он много для своего уровня, всегда ветеранам 12-14 минут боя проигрывает, а потом на лаки нокаутирует.Я очень хочу, чтобы Сендхаген показал уровень этого говнюка

@muslimhusrav9797 он после боя с шоном вёл себя так как будто разобрал его в одну калитку, а на деле просто повезло что чиркнул по коленному нерву и у того нога отключилась. Ветераны его били, может в будущем он и будет на чемпионском уровне, в чем очень сильно сомневаюсь, но пока что он не нравится ни как боец, ни тем более как человек.

if only cruz has the power. chito knows hes not going to get hurt. cruz may look fast and busy but he makes a very obvious pattern that chito read as the fight went on.

Cruz bases his whole game on elusiveness, which is why he doesn't generate much power, he's never planted. I love cruz though, one of the greatest bantam weights of all time.

Prime Cruz would’ve never been caught with that he became to predictable with the lateral movement and got slower. Chito had all night to land that but didn’t wanna give up the plan too fast

In a lot of ways this is what I expect Chito vs. Sean to look like. Even though Sean and Dom's styles are very different, I expect Sean to also have a clear speed advantage over Chito and that plus footwork and precision are probably going to out point Chito throughout the fight, but it's tough to put Chito away, so he's probably gonna hang around, and he's always dangerous, so Sean really gotta be careful, can't make many mistakes

I wrestled in middle school through high school I understand grappling exchanges but I don’t understand a lot of the stand up can someone please explain why Cruz was not able to land even when standing in front of chito and throwing it was discouraging to watch for me I love mma I understand styles make fights I just don’t understand how striking works yet sorry this sounds dumb that’s why I’m asking someone who knows boxing and stand up/mma striking thank you 👍

Портил это Би Джей,которому ОЧЕВИДНО было пора заканчивать,и он уже никаких бойцов не вывозил.А у Круза до этого было 2 победы к ряду,держу вкурсе.Да и проиграл он нынешнему топ 3 дивизиона.Притом до нокаута был очень близкий бой.1 и 2 раунды забрал Круз,а 3 Вера,ну и 4 Вера скорее всего бы забрал.5 раунд был бы решающим.И это 37 летний ветеран

Saw this fight when it happened. Great commentary but as an FYI- the 4th 'knock down' was a slip. Broke his nose. You could see in the replay Dom's nose just shift, bummer for him. Great fight though. I still gave all to Dom easily and didn't think it was close until the finish.

Just watched this again for the first time. I now see what Sean O’Malley is talking about. Vera is boring and slow lol. He certainly has power, now doubt about that. But it is annoying to watch how slow he starts off.
