I saw this live, and I admit at first, I thought Matt was going to get beat by Silva. Matt is one tough son of a biscuit eater! I never underestimated him again after this fight. He is definitely a legend and any given day; he had the ability to beat anyone. His conditioning made him very dangerous. God bless him. Such an exciting fighter!

Damn watched a lot of fights but this one had the come back vibe that kept you hooked being hurt so early looking like his body wanted to give up but his mind/will pushed thru heart of a champion 👊👍

Exactly and i also noticed when Silva first hurt Matt with that liver kick, he could have easily won this fight with 2 or 3 elbows but instead he threw very weak hammer fists. He easily could've won that if he was more experienced. Best wishes and stay safe out there fellow old school-er.

Для тех кто спрашивает кто это такие , Сильва был монстр, восходящая звезда, сносил всех в начальных раундах, Брауна ему давали как ветерана на сьедения , но пошло что то не так , в итоге Браун еще долго выступал и показывал крутые бои, а Сильва скатился быстро , очень быстро.

Man I miss watching Eric Silva…. It’s a shame he was mostly always a 1 round guy and then his chin started to go early, losing him fights he shouldn’t have. The guy had crazy talent and little time to show it. Always wondered the conditioning issue, too big of a weight cut maybe? Against Matt Browne the odds of putting him away in 1 round are slim even if you do get him in trouble as seen here. You definitely need to be fresh more than 1 round.
