Никакой красивой борьбы я там не увидел. Вот Махачев делает красивые броски бедро, подсечки из дзюдо самбо, например в бою с Оливейрой Царукяном. Федор красивые броски делал из самбо! Merab has this weird thing where he gets better as the round goes, like hes just peaking. You will notice he does not have the best wrestling in the 1st rounds, he can get taken down and he will miss take downs, but when in round 2 especially round 3, thats when he peaks, suddenly hes a lot better.

you absulotly right, merab isnt good fighter, he just find the way to win fights by holding the opponents and try 100 takes downs for points, this is not real mma fights with style like this, khabib did it right in his own way , when other fighters try to do it every single fight they are not true fighters they are just points fighters .... man dana need to do a batter machmaking and know who thos fighters that only trying to find a way to win by points and only ground games , and kick them out from ufc, if it willl continue like that you all be ready to see only ground attaks , take downs and submitions, and rarly mmaybe maybe 1 KO every 3 - 4 events

True and I think everyone is discrediting the fact that it appears Henry fractured his arm in the first 3 minutes, it’s a fight so that damage does count but for fighter standards swelling to that degree is unusual in that area

I thought the same. Until belal dismantled edwards. And merab is unstoppable. If he can do the same thing that belal did. If Merab can pressure, shoot takedowns, and not give the sniper a chance to snipe, he can take the belt. And tbh, these strikers need to learn how to grapple, this isn't boxing. That fight between belal and edwards, even sean strickland vs ddp to an extent, showed that you need to be a fully rounded so that you dont get dismantled like that. You need to be a competent grappler, and have good stand up. You wouldn't see islam or topuria get dismantled like that.

@@S475-pb2dp But Leon is a point-fighter with his jab, and rarely finishes a fight. O'Malley turns out the lights. Merab is incredibly hittable, reckless, and has almost zero ways to finish the fight. It'll be a good fight, for sure, but Merab is getting KO'ed.

Cejudo was definitely more skilled. Clipped Merab and was winning in the wrestling exchanges until round 2 where he gassed. Henry can't handle high pace wrestling scrambles like that both due to his age and the fact that he has to be light on his feet moving the whole time.

I think merabs cage wrestling lets him “take breaks” using his superior isometric strength to pin opponents and force them into constant scrambles fighting for balance in ways which are not common to wrestling. Henry has very good stand ups out in the open, and even good cage defense, but merab has that khabib style to punish typical wall walking. On the feet though, Henry’s movement, left hand lead and right calf kick along with the occasional overhand/reactive TD mixup won him this. Merab just was able to eat his shots and fire back due to Henry’s defensive gaps. O’Malley will land headkicks where cejudo should have, and possibly ko merab before any real grappling occurs, but I believe if merab gets O’Malley pinned on the cage O’Malley probably loses that round

@@unmessable12wth...Henry got clipped as well in round 2. He probably took round 1 and it wasn't ever since. And since when did we start singling out cardio as if it isn't a requirement in your own conditioning. If you gassed out it's probably 2 things either you came out to the fight less conditioned than usual or the opponent's pace made you look that way, and this has always been Merab. Tiring and wearing down his opponents, that has always been his style.

После такого простоя попасть на Мираба, нужны большие шары, либо маленькие мозги, либо пустоватые карманы. Смотрелся Сехудыч конечно не топово, но до того как устал конкурентно. Мираб голодный, энергичный, запредельное кардио, он и Шона развалит, если тот не вырубит его.

@climbingsnowboarder Шон не славится своим кардио, он отличный контр-панчер, отлично чувствует дистанцию и главное умеет на ней работать. Вспомни конкретный бой с Петром Яном, где габариты тоже имели большое значение, но у Шона были большие проблемы и этот бой был скорее за Петром несмотря на победу Шона. Как бы кто не относился к Мерабу, он отличный боец без кнопки "стоп". Без негатива, либо ты просто фанат Шона и не воспринимаешь сухую аналитику, либо ты не следишь за этими бойцами и их боями.

It’s draining his opponent and he lands a lot of knees and elbows when there. He’s also imposing his will and he has the stamina to do that literally all day. You should probably look up what a chain wrestler is if you wanna understand how effective this type of wrestling is

and they say Merab is a boring fighter. look at his fights versus Cejudo,Moraes,Yan. He hummilated them in a boxing. But he handled O`malley with his takedowns because O`malley has reach adventage. Merab has very high fighting IQ,Tenacity and Stamina.
