Yeah he definitely talked his way into being hated by most people, but its always good to see he turned it around in the end with a beautiful performance like this. Win or lose everyone can appreciate the heart he displayed, even after everything that happened and no energy left in the tank he kept coming forward until the end.

It was from a very high pace in R1 where he was getting smothered by costa on the ground. The high altitude in Utah definitely didn’t help, and the blood nose he got early on, which forced him to mouth breath pretty much the entire fight. He basically had every cardio disadvantage possible.

If you watch a lot of UFC and have heard DC commentate a few times...you can hear how nervous he is for Rockhold in this one. He is completely bias although he tries not be, but the entire time you can hear his voice shaking.

Rockholds last fight was his greatest in my opinion. Sure, he lost. But high altitude, at the end of his career, against a younger, bigger, roided-up Costa - that's a really tough fight for most guys in the weight class. Rockholds exhausted but thunderous lefts and unprecedented heart, was just incredible. The man gave everything in that fight.

Costa has a very underrated ground game , I'm surprised he doesn't utilize it more in his fights . His size and strength wrenching on your limbs , or strangling you would suit him well

Когда Люк стал чемпион , я думал что очень долго будет держать титул, так как он казался тогда супер идеальним бойцом, рост, антропометрия, бойцовские навыки, все было у него, но к сожелению случился тот апсет , в бою с Биспингом, который и сломал карьеру Люка, после того боя он не смог оправытся(

Такого Косту Чимаев должен уничтожить. Рокхолд в этом бою был в лучшем случае 50% от своих прежних кондиций. Возможно, лучшая версия Рокхолда лучше лучшей версии Чимаева, но то, что Коста не смог его нокаутировать, это - неудачный результат.

idk man rockhold is real legit fighter despite all the memes, and paulo was tired too, they went at a crazy pace for the first round and didn't expect to gas so bad due to elevation (which is a real factor). i think this fight is a bad example to predict his fight with khamzat just my opinion @@owais8027

Uncanny performance from costa. He just had to throw more than 4 punches in a row in that second round and he had the KO/TKO no question. Luke was more tired than dada5000 and kimbo slice. Props to Luke for finishing the fight but he also came in horribly out of shape, possibly due to an injury? Weird fight

Rockhold broke his nose in round 1, the fight was at high altitude in Salt Lake City, they put on a crazy pace in round 1 (especially for a fight at altitude), Luke always throws a ton of kicks (which are very fatiguing techniques), and both fighters were throwing everything with a ton of power. Also I don’t think Rockhold came early enough to acclimate properly to the altitude. He probably came in great shape, but this fight was a perfect recipe for him to gas out. Everyone was gassing out on this card, not just Luke. Costa was just as tired in this fight, which is probably why he didn’t throw more punches in rd 2. He just didn’t have a broken nose affecting his breathing and was better at hiding how tired he was.

В лайве этот бой не смотрел, делал выводы из коментов где говорили что Коста смял Рокхолда. Но вот сейчас глянув могу сказать что это чистейшее ограбление Рокхолда, Коста вообще ничего не показал, мешок мышц и все. За счёт чего он хочет выиграть у Чимаева? Чимаев как перевести его может, так и рубануть

I mean just look at the output.. Luke did good but he got outstriked and Costa got stunned a few times but took a lot less damage. I agree that Costa can't close fights though. Luke got real sloppy and slow beginning R2, Costa should have taken his time, more jabs just waiting for an opening and then finished him. He's not a very smart fighter but he has power and stamina which puts him ahead of a lot of other ranked middleweights.

Ну во-первых, у Косты чëрный пояс по джиу-джитсу. Во-вторых, ты судишь Косту только по бою с Рокхолдом. Рокхолд - ветеран этого спорта и у него опыта больше в боях, чем у Косты. Рокхолду респект, что в свои года показал такой зрелищный бой. А теперь посмотри что Коста сделал в бою с Ромеро. Он показал зрелищный бой и уничтожал Ромеро (который тоже как и Чимаев является опасным бойцом с навыками борьбы и ударки). Так что делай выводы.

В этом бою не увидел и 5% от пикового Люка но даже этого хватило чтобы вставить Косте таких хороших пиздов,против пикового Люка он и раунда не продержался бы,и да теперь особенно не понимаю долбоёбов говорящих что он победит Хамзата(тем более нокаутирует🤣🤣🤣🤦🤦🤦)учитывая его последние 3 боя🤦🤣,и раунда не переживёт и в стойке уснёт и в партере постучит,мисмач года💯;)
