I have never seen Vitor even throw a kick up until 2013 when he fought Bisping. Its like he all of a sudden downloaded a Taekwondo 5th degree black belt and started nuking everyone!

Its like we all can do those moves but practice makes us faster and stronger and accurate, plus strength in balance after kicking. Then years of combat being accurate on moving targets and being able to pull it off on high level competition. He is high level but the trt filled in many of these gaps by literally having power of a weight class above and speed of a weight class lower. He won't be exhausted from throwing kicks that hes not used too, and not tired from blitzing on his opponents so he's allowed to throw more per round than usual giving attacks to his opponents. Just saying he's DEADLY. Lol

He will say things like "OHHH HUGE RIght lands! or so it would appear" there was one where someone got choked out cold recently and he goes something like. "and thats it! he put him to sleep!!! or so it would seem" I don't know why he does that all the time, just call what you see man. 😆

I’d say this was peak Vitor here. He started his career early and had a peak when he was young, fighting all the greats back then and winning the LHW championship, but around this time he hit a second stride and I’d say this version of him in 2013 was the best he ever was, maybe one of the greatest fighters ever. Allowed to use TRT among probably a ton of other PEDs we didn’t know of, fighting in Brazil among his countryman, old enough to have all the experience, and on his last title run. TRT Vitor is truly one of the greatest mythical fighters ever along with Pico Jon, Sea Level Cain, Karate Stance McGregor, etc.

agreed. this version of Vitor was more well rounded and didn't just depend on his fast hands even though he was still fast, precise and explosive AF with his hands. the KOs vs Rich Franklin and Hendo were a thing of beauty. if it wasn't for Silva, he would have won the middleweight belt too (though his LHW title win was a fluke due to Randy's injury).

@@Ebenezer456 Currently Rondos Boxing Back in the AMMA days we rented out the local Karate gym and brought in experienced guys from different disciplines and learned from them. When I fought they matched you up with whoever showed up close to you weight and similar record. You had an option to fight or not. Could be 10 20lb difference.

Watching this back you can see how nervous Rockhold was (understandably). Very unusual for him to be so off-balance with his kicks. He was clearly concerned about the power coming back at him and got too tense.

This wasnt just peak vitor, this was peak UFC. The days where not only was there not the same stringent testing as today, but trt exemptions as well. They were touring all over europe and as you can hear how loud this crowd is, the energy of the fights were absolutely lit. Also the last days of fighters allowed to rep their own sponsors before the ufc signed one massive sponsorship deal for all the fighters taking all the money for themselves. Idc what anyone says, in a sport where you have professional cage fighters every single one should be allowed to juice and take every ped available to them. Yes the sport has progressed tremendously as far as technique, but there was such a substantial difference in the era of peds. They allow guys to go as hard as they can all 5 rounds without tiring. No matter the fighter, when guys become fatigued it appears as though all their courage and heart go out the window, and that goes for any man when fatigue sets in.
