People sh*t on Herb Dean but he absolutely called it at the right time. Justins legs buckled and after seeing him get wobbly twice gave him more than enough time to come back. Justin is so tough though, This is a great fight.

You gotta love the bias on the announcers. “ Gaethje attacking those legs!” Meanwhile his eye is cut open 30 seconds into the round. “Dustin doesn’t wanna eat anymore of those leg kicks” actively eats a leg kick and rocks gaethje in the jaw, then proceeds to knock him out. Stop the glaze, those punches were waaay more effective than they gave Dustin credit for.

I often disagree with the commentators most especially Daniel and I totally disagreed with them all for most of the fight. Yes, Kathy is a great lead kicker, and he was doing it to it and he has an incredible chin for the division, but he got beat up the entire fight till he got put away.

It's good that I'm not a judge. I like them both but it looked to me like Poirier won the 1st 2 rounds big time. At the beginning of the 4th DC suggested that Gaethje was way ahead. Seems like the significant strikes were way in Poirier's favor.
