So ironic that Jiri was winning on the feet while Glover was winning on the floor throughout the first 4 rounds, but then Glover starts winning on the feet in the 5th with Jiri ultimately finishing the fight on the ground. This fight was like a movie lol

Prochazka is a freaking DAWG, man. Dude just doesn't stop fighting, even in the face of annihilation.

One of the greatest fights I've ever seen by two men who embody all that's best in Martial Arts spirituality, character building, and respect. This was poetry in motion and possibly the most exciting fight I've ever seen. It's a shame people like McGregor and Paddy get so much attention and guys like Glover, one of the most inspiring fighters ever, to go completely unnoticed to anyone outside the MMA community.

Rewatching this masterpiece…This really broke my heart for Glover because he was winning beating all odds at 42……This fight was beyond insane, back and fourth insanity. Glover is 42 yrs old fighting a savage in Jiri, Glover was killing him on the ground and Jiri was killing Glover on the feet then the roles reversed in the 5th was nuts. Glover almost won yet made a mistake after he had Jiri hurt bad then tried to jump a choke cost him this fight……Jiri had to dig real deep and he did and he won. What a banger.

По всему видать Тейшера должен был выиграть, но чудеса случаются. Большое уважение Гловеру драться в таком возрасте.

This IS the best mma fight of all time. All out action the whole nearly 25 minutes. Entertaining on the feet and on the ground, the right mix between technique and chaos, a desperatly needed come from behind finish and a movie worthy storyline of the old warrior using every trick in the book to keep his crown against the young lion struggeling and ultimately succeding to take it for the next generation

I think this fight took a big toll on his body leading to him retiring even though he stood and fought and never gave up in the fight with jahmal

Феноменальный бой с такими разменами в партере, с такими свипами - это просто нечто! скорей всего Гловер не дотерпел 30 секунд до своей победы, в конце решил толчок ногами от сетки, так то позиция была фулл маунт и в ней можно было спокойно оставшееся время контролировать чеха. Самое интересное что в середине боя Прохаска отлично защитился от опасных попыток удушки, причем Гловер по бжж собаку съел, опасный дядька, по этому это ещё больший плюс в резюме чеха. Но то что в последнем раунде Тейшейра стал разбирать на руках Прохаску, который до этого раунда в стойке смотрелся сильнее - вообще шок) Кормье с Биспингом так и не поняли почему Гловер шел после хороших попаданий в борьбу, а не развивал успех. Наверное уже просто сил не было.

Jiri, viking shogun. This dude is a walking anime. That fight was back and forth the entire time, it will be fun to see happen again. Glover, wow. Dude is in the waning years of a great career, puts on a performance that showcases his skills and his toughness. He has insane cardio for a man in his 40's. Shows the work ethic he's kept up with. Great fight.

The whole sequence by Glover starting at 21:38 is one of my favorite grappling exchanges in all of MMA and is certainly one of the highlights of his already amazing career. I know he didn’t win but my god the transition from deep half ending in that perfect sit through was a thing of beauty.
