i’ve watched this fight a good 4-5 times, it’s so interesting seeing how tough Volk was the entire fight. Ortega really has the stamina and can take a nasty punch.

Apparently Volk practiced 1000 times or more during training getting out of guillotines and triangle chokes in preparation for Ortega, and wow did that preparation pay off. Still, without that heart of a champion and without those superman skills, Volk might not have survived.

It's sad Ortega never really crossed that line into greatness. I remember when the UFC first hyped him up... I thought it was too early for such a young kid. 10:00 It is interesting watching this now, looking back. Volk can not shoot. I don't understand why Ortega wants to prove himself on the feet. He is BJJ first, striker second. Must be demons. Same mistake against Holloway. Maybe because his opponents don't dare? Compare to Volk winning against Yair. No way can he do that to Ortega, as shown in this fight.

man even when the fighters don't like each other much. I LOVE seeing the show of sportsmanship at the end of the fights. It happens a lot more now days too. sometimes it doesn't. But I love seeing it. Like when the dr called the bamf between Diaz and masvidal. literally as soon as the ref waved his hands you could see how disappointed masvidal was at not being able to finish the fight. They we're both in immediate agreement the they had to have another fight as soon as Diaz was healed. Good stuff

This match gives me the impression that makhachev could beat volkanovski as bad as everyone is predicting he will, ortega gave him a war. I'd still imagine volkanovski could surprise makhachev with his speed advantage and superior striking, though. It's hard to predict with makhachev, his recent matches haven't lasted very long, so there's not much to analyse. His striking looked limited in the oliveira match though, same left cross to right hook the whole match.

Ортега продал этот бой, и в юфс таких моментов много, включая Конора его вели, Альварес без стеснения слил тот бой после чего акции Конора взлетели вдвое, а Хабиб показал его уровень, та же история и с волкановским

@@VRX-gn4jz альварез был не слишком сильным бойцом, но при этом чемпионом. конор выиграл его честно, в такой же манере альвареса позже побеждал порье. макгрегор до альвареза зачистил целый дивизион ниже, там тоже наверное все бои попродавали, да? обесценивать его профессиональные бойцовские навыки это конечно такое. с Волконовски и Ортегой вообще атас. @@wideyeoman1018 2 боя Волк выиграл .Первый бой 3-2 в пользу Волкановски, 1 ,3 раунд Макс забрал , 2 , 4 ,5 Волк забрал , во втором бою вообще молчу ,вы хоть статистику боя смотрели?У него было 3 перевода , больше акцентированных ударов , больше само количество ударов, 1 и 2 раунд Макс , 3,4,5 Волк .В 3 раунде макс больше пропустил чем Волк , также он его перебивал , да согласен раунд был равный , но его забрал Волк.Так что 2-0 в пользу Волка
