The UFC cutmen are the ones who told Romero to stay seated. He went to stand at the bell, but they didn't let him. They didn't show this when the fight was televised, and I only recently learned this from another video.

Child, fight should have been over the moment Tim illegally held Romero's right glove at the end of round 2. After that you literally can not DQ Romero for taking extra time to recover considering it was TIm's cheating that led up to that. Let that sink in.

Tim Kennedy quit the UFC after this fight because of all the dirty stalling tactics of Romero's corner. Fight should have been over before round 3 started. It gave Yoel an extra 30 seconds to recover. Not to mention if you look at the ending it was a punch right to the back of the head that really knocked Kennedy out at the end there. Kennedy said he lost his heart for the UFC after all this. Unfortunate. Kennedy is also a USA special forces operator and deserved better than this.
