If belal loses to shavcat, a rematch then brady fights for the belt or the loser of the rematch. Leon had that rank cause he was the champ that’s all which became the worse case for him after losing this way. TBH I want shavkat to win the belt, move up and square up with chimaev after getting his.

His chin is gonna get weaker over time and he will get dropped soon, Bradley was outstriking Belal with jabs and lead hooks the entire fight, the only reason why Belal was able to set up those overhands is because he kept backing Brady to the corner because hed just tank hits to the face, thats not good longterm.

Really? I think he fights like a small Marvin Vettori. Almost has that Dricus level of spaz combos that look goofy but they work for him. But smooth and technical I think of strikers like Anderson Silva, Aldo, Conor, Ilia, O’Malley, Yan, Shavkat, Katar, Romanov, Edwards, MVP, Adesanya, Edgar, Periera, Moreno, Stipe, Moreno, Shevchenko, Holm, Nunes, Figgy, Dos Santos, Masvidal, Cruz, Garbrant, T.J. And then there are great strikers that don’t necessarily have the smoothest technique but are undoubtedly elite: Porier, Du Plessis, Whittaker, Ngannou, Aspinall, Gaethje, Garbrandt, Gastelum, 2011-2019 Ferguson, Volk, Hill, Johnson (RIP) , Liddel, Nick & Nate, etc.

This fight showed that belal’s toughest opponent is himself. When Belal lets his hands go and gets on the gas he’s a brute. When he just uses his wrestling to lay and pray he’s average. He’s got to learn to trust himself and go for the kill, like he did in this fight.

Belal may not be the best boxer but he has a very good base/stance, very good reflexes and a solid 1-2 combo. Extremely high IQ, knows exactly how to manage a victory, takes a very good hit, stamina on point. He takes out Leon based on his IQ and determination.

The only issue is Leon is in his prime. Belal has a great chin but he's super hittable. His footwork is iffy and he doesn't have much power. He has to mix it up with Leon. I believe in him though and I'm betting my money on him.

Underrated? He got outstruck with jabs and lead hooks the entire fight, the only reason he was able to land the overhands was by forcing Brady against the cage by blocking punches with his face, his chin will go soon.

This is really Belals signature win in my opinion. Im surprised nobody is saying how excellent Belals chin is. Brady landed some really clean shots and they didn’t phase him at all. The right hand that wobbled Brady was as clean as they come. Belal is representing his people well. His exceptional bravery standing up for them against a colonial force with advanced weapons and media manipulation is very noteworthy. Rememeber it didn’t start oct seventh. Every couple years an oct seventh has been inflicted on the peoples of Gaza and/or the West Bank. Thousands were held in prisons without trials before oct seventh - which equal hostages

Terrible stoppage. Knowing how low Belal's finish rate is, he can't be throwing bombs. He was connecting here but Brady was still blocking and moving, defending with enough intelligence that you can't honestly call that a TKO. With 10 seconds left in the round it's a miserable stoppage

I’d have tried to let it go to the end of the round cause there was only 10 seconds left, but it was close to a stoppage from me as well.

I gotta say. BELAL may not be the most exciting 2 watch. Buuuut, outta every UFC fighter, he DEFINITELY makes the most outta his important muscle....his brain!!!!! Even though he's the king of decision wins, I'd say he's the only one that actually sticks to a specific set game plan & adjusts accordingly. Where as, a lot of fighters let their emotions get in the way. (Anger, frustration) If he needs to pressure 4ward he does. If he needs to stay on his bicycle & move left to right, he does. I think that Luque fight woke him up. Some fighters lose like that & they decline. Others lose like that & improve. Definitely using his brain like a chess match. It's gotta take alot of discipline to do that. He str8 up broke down Brady like a horse. Very systematic win. Very impressive.

A good stoppage but the ref gave no warning at all. None that he was close to stopping the fight. The ref needs to let brady know he needs to defend himself/do something or the fight will end. If you watch here he actually bounces far bacn from the two fighters tight lipped then a punch lands and hes rushing in

He may not have a pretty style, but Belal gets the job done when it counts. I must admit that I really do not like his style (wrestle-fucking with basically zero meaningful G&P) but when he’s forced to stand, it gets interesting. If he could just learn to do more than lay and pray on the ground, he could absolutely be one of the most beloved, longest-reigning champs in the modern era. Yet, I just don’t see that happening 😂😂
