People just need to give Izzy his credit and respect. All 4 fights were competitive so it was no fluke. Neither are Pereira’s wins. These are two of the highest level strikers in the game putting on a masterclass and we should appreciate it.

@@jonathankevin500 Great knockout but I think Izzy vs Pereira is just at a higher level, which makes it more impressive. Some people would argue that Chandler’s KO of Tony was the best knockout of last year but Tony was already on a 3 fight skid. Leon deserved the best KO of 2022 because he did it to a 15 fight winning streak Usman. Same logic as to why I think, Adesanya’s KO deserves the KO of the year. Pereira beat him last year and smoked his way to the top of the middleweight division and is now a two division champ in two sports - super impressive. KOing a guy that good deserves the most credit.

Exactly. The fight will happen again eventually, but the timing isn't right. Izzy needs to build himself back up first. If he gets his belt back, avenges the Strickland loss, beats Dricus, he can then talk about moving up for the trilogy (quintilogy?). At the moment, he has unfinished business, so it's best they go their separate paths for now
@achilldude

@@TheGuyCalledX honestly I love the rivalry but I see it differently, for one everyone says 3-1 when in reality it should be 2-2, not only that but using dubs from two different sports doesn't make sense to me so I always say it's 1-1 and 0-2. And as for the future I more so just want to see him avenge the Strickland loss and ofc beat ddp for the belt. I don't think we're gonna see izzy vs Alex again but if we do I wouldn't mind

@@TheGuyCalledX Winning handily is quite a stretch, while Izzy did win most of the rounds majority were very close which is far from winning handily. Even in their first MMA bout, Pereira was controlling most of the first before getting stunned and won the second.... @@RaidenKyo casual? One is double champ in pure striking which is kickboxing and the other isn't. One is 3-1 over the other. And in the current time, Pereira is 5-0 against the best hitters in lhw while Izzy really got bullied out of the rankings by the likes of Strickland and DDP. That's levels lmao. Want to know why this will be the best KO ever ? Izzy took the momentum of the hits and literally hit it back 10 fold If you focus closely not on the punches but the momentum and body you will see both of he's shots are bounced forward when Pereira hit him he bounced backwards took the momentum put all of it into his right arm and threw it forward like a hammer bouncing back after hitting a rubber wall that's why it hit so disturbingly hard. Impressive read and he lured him in.
