You gotta respect Gaethje too for putting it all on the line. It takes 2 to tango. If Gaethje didn't fight back at the end, Holloway wouldn't have had one of the most epic highlights in UFC history. Both men are warriors in all respects.

gaethje is a warrior for sure. he had a lot on the line. he pretty much sacrificed another shot at the title because of this fight. says a lot about his confidence but also his fighting spirit.

I think Max had pulled that off before that. He has been an amazing performer for so long. Just a striking beast. And people can say what they want (I don't like McGregor either), but McGregor tore his ACL and still beat Max Holloway in their fight (yes, they were young) but McGregor was that good.

Looks like most of the punch landed on his neck. That's how Max is so hard to knock out. He moves with the punches in a way so that they look like they land flush when you watch in real time, but slow motion reveals that they actually miss the critical areas (Chin, temple, or occipital Lobe) by a razor thin margin.

that's exactly how I say you should fight someone like Justin who likes to gear up. You have to force his head up. Max did an excellent job at seeing Justin's attempts to gear up and he met him in the middle with a quick combo catching Justin off guard and unable to do anything in return. He also used the Spinning kick to the middle and the uppercut to force Justin to stand up right. Justin kept on walking into kicks and uppercuts because he doesn't know how to fight without baiting his head. He makes the biggest mistake by brawling while he is hurt with a guy who is not only undamaged but also clearly has the speed advantage. Clearly Max did his homework. Something more interesting about this is that his next opponent is also a head baiter. He needs to meet Toporia right in the middle as he gets ready to gear up for the hooks. He needs to fight that guy in the same way he fought Justin. The most important thing is to anticipate Toporia. When he is ready to Gear up for an assault get out of the way, circle, and when he is diffused attack with a combo then reset. Also when he is ready to gear up meet him with a combo as he is getting ready to go for his wild hooks. If you get hit in the body by a hook exit left the right is likely to come right after a body shot. And most importantly Toporia''s hands are way faster than Justin.

Max is one of my favorite fighters ever but Justin Gaethje is a beast too. Made respect for him standing his ground with Max. We couldnt have such an epic moment without both of them.

@@КаренАгабекян-ъ5и Я сам болел за Гейджи, но он не успевал за Холлоуеем, просто Макс был лучше Джастина в футворке🤷‍♂ Хорошо двигался, но в момент просто не успел и попал под удар в заднюю часть головы и ощутил 1й в своей карьере нокдаун, хотя быстро оправился, любой другой станцевал бы танец в октагоне🤣 от Джастина такой удар получить это равно нокаут, любой бы рухнул намертво сразу👍

The commentators can say what they want about Justin doing this and Justin doing that but all I can say is look at Gage's face and look at Holloway's face, that speaks for itself
