Probably could have stopped it before that sequence when it was clear he was done fighting. But definitely the moment he was dropped it was clearly over. He straight up looked away and then got immediately crumbled to the ground

Fighters have a very tough time with Stricklands style. He is so off kilter with how he moves forward people just can't understand him. He is definitely his own thing.

Watch his fight wiith Adesanya, he did the exact same shit with him and dominated, most of the match. .....Maybe, I'm over reaching, as I get what you're saying.....Maybe he's a little boring, because he fights too "safe"? Is that what you're getting at? I mean, he unloads, when he "knows" he can, but I get ya.

@@jaredkeyes3742there is plenty reason why he succeeds with his style. The teep kick that he spams is one of the best way to keep people at bay. I've been asking myself for years why don't fighters utilize it more and just spam it at times when they want to keep someone away. Then Strickland came around and confirmed what I knew since the beginning. The teep kick is one of the best strikes in MMA and is severely underutilized. Strickland is a smart fighter. Boring at times, but smart nevertheless.

Как вариант, не устал, а например жестко пропустил в голову в начале второго раунда, и дальше уже штормило его, замедлился, но чисто на характере двигался, чуть не хватило до конца раунда дотянуть

He was kicking the SHIT out of Sean for the entire first round and then gassed out for no apparent reason. ONLY THEN, when Abus was moving at half-speed, was Sean able to stop taking damage and start landing strikes. It was probably just a bad weight cut. He had no problem with his cardio in any of his previous fights, and didn't have trouble with his cardio in his next fight. It was an obvious fluke, and he would probably beat Sean if they ever fought again.

Eye pokes and groin shots are becoming mandatory in early fight because a warning means nothing compared to the advantage a fighter gains. Refs should take a point right away. I am sure it would happend less often if it costs a point.

The power difference between Strickland and Topuria is crazy. Bro tee’d off on Magomed for like 5 minutes and still barely got the KO. Magomed was so tired it looked like he was as gonna go take a nice calm stroll somewhere and almost fully turned his back on Sean. It almost looked like a sucker punch 😂. And then it still took like 20 more punches for Strickland to put him away
