Heck no. It was for the belt and they usually give the champ extra time to turn a bad situation around. Especially after several times when a championship fight was stopped and a loser and his team would cry "early stoppage" to the media and everyone else, causing a shit storm and fans claiming a fight was fixed. So you get this where the end result is that there's no way anyone can claim that it was an early stoppage.

Most likely he’s just a power lifter never tried doing reps of any kind. That usually leads to lack of stamina although your strength will skyrocket. I don’t power lift cause I don’t weigh much so my stamina is insane but I’m not strong much at all in terms of power. We all wish we had both but unfortunately genetics say no to just about every man

He’s too big, and didn’t have the endurance. If he had started training for MMA earlier he would have been a lot better. Still give him credit though, he fought some beasts in a sport that wasn’t his specialty.
