@@driftmaster206colon surgery. He had diverticulitis and got 12 inches of colon removed. Tbh it wasn't as bad as it sounded since the recovery was months instead of years, and he did defeated Carwin post-surgery. But since Lesnar got diverticulitis twice it just means he's never fully healthy. Although considering his striking were mediocre, Brock's chance against Cain and Ubereem were already small. Diverticulitis just made it went from small to near impossible.

Brock returned way to soon from the diverticulitis surgery in this fight had he recovered properly and didn't rush back he would not have lost this fight

@mscolgate bottom line, Lesnar's game plan has always been to come out swinging, go for a takedown, then ground and pound. He wasn't rounded enough to compete against the next generation of HW's, didn't have the striking ability or the cardio. Against overeem he should have gone for it, instead he was hesitant and paid the price. Pre surgery the result would have been the same.

@mscolgate Based on what? Lesnar couldn't finish Heath Herring and was lucky that the referee didn't stop the fight in the 1st against Carwin. You can bet your life had it been the other way around the referee would have stopped it. Why was Lesnar so hesitant against Overeem? And don't use the excuse of post surgery. Lesnar should have gone for it from the off with a kill or be killed mindset if he new he wasn't a 100%. He was never going to win on points. Lacked the skill set.
